Rowing Safety
There are three things you can do to ensure safety at Mosman Rowing Club, these include:
- No one can row a MRC boat without either being a financial Club Member or by taking out temporary membership for the row by paying the rowing fee of $20 per row. This is to ensure that people and the boats are covered by the clubs insurance policy.
- No one is allowed out on the water before sunrise or after sunset without an approved light (see NSW Maritime)
- Always stick to the starboard side of the waterways
- Always look around so you know what’s coming
MRC thanks you for paying attention, and hopes that this ensures a safer and more enjoyable time on the water for us all!
