Squad Development

Most of these athletes are graduates from the Juniors, ready to take on a heavier workload and more intense training. Squad Development prepares young bodies and minds for the sharp, competitive end of our sport. The growing up phase begins here.

Juniors

Our Junior Rowing Programs are for children who attend schools that do not offer their own programs. Any child in Year 8 to Year 12, can start to row at Mosman and we have 4 different programs.

Masters & Recreational

Perhaps rowing’s greatest strength is that it is a life sport. From early adolescence to old age, rowing is a love affair that never wanes, even if at times it does hurt! Mosman’s Masters are competitive, passionate racers and our recreational crews are out there rowing for fitness.

Adult Learn To Row

Otherwise known as LTR, this program is for adult non-Members wishing to learn about rowing, and then continue to enjoy participation and coaching. There are four “terms” a year, and places are limited.

The Spirit of Mosman Rowing

The passion for an ancient and beautiful sport burns fiercely in the heart of every Mosman Rowing Club member.

Whether it’s our exciting Juniors, awe inspiring Elites or the many Masters who defy the years by getting fitter as they age, MRC is a club that loves rowing and racing. Our members are bound in friendship by this spirit, and bonded by the century-old red and white hoops we wear so proudly in competition. Mosman is rich in tradition, but we combine this history of excellence with a modern and innovative approach to everything we do. Renewal is constant with each generation, and enjoyment the yield from all the hard work we put in.

In short, we love rowing!
