recreational rowers at mosman

With the growth of interest in recreational rowing under Tony Blay at Mosman Rowing Club it seemed a natural progression to develop an identity to match the enthusiasm shown by weekday and weekend rowers.

‘Rowzone’ it is, and apart from the new name, it’s business as usual for all our crews.

At Mosman Rowing Club we realise that not everyone can create the time necessary to train year round for competition. We also accept that not everyone wishes to race.

That is why we offer recreational rowing for people who would like to try their hand at this popular sport.

Accompanied by a coach, recreational rowers row once a week, at a regular time slot. Lessons are in a quad scull or an eight depending on numbers. These outings take 1 1/2 hours and are on weekdays from 7:30 am.

Cost: $25 per row per person

Rowing twice a week would cost $20 per person per outing provided there is a minimum of four in the squad.
