Next Monday 6th October will be our first weekday row under new daylight saving time.
Please organise batteries, lights and tape to attach lights to your boats before then.
Lights must be white, on both bow and stern, and visible 360 degrees.
Red bike lights are not acceptable.
As it is currently school holidays, there are a lot more recreational boats on the water at the moment, and in the interests of safety, no boats, club or private, will be permitted to go afloat before sunrise.
Club member David Wear 0413754686 has a stock of 100 new boat lights arriving this week
This morning it was still dark at 0520hrs, which equates to lights still being necessary at 0620 hrs next week
