Dear Members,
I am writing to provide early notice of the Club’s Annual General Meeting so you can all put it in your diaries. This will be the first AGM for the Club since we split from the licensed premises and will be an important one for everyone to attend.
The Meeting will be held at the Pearl Bay Clubhouse on Sunday 25 November (i.e. the day after the election) at 11.00 a.m.
A more formal Notice of Meeting will be sent out in a couple of weeks. However, the program for the day will be:
0600 - Sunday morning row (for those who feel the need)
0800 - Working bee at 0800 to tidy the shed and set things up for the meeting
1000 - Shower, change (and coffee?)
1100 - AGM (including the presentation of Club Trophies and the christening of our new Eight)
1230 - Barbeque for members (and families)
It should be a great Club day and a good opportunity for all of us to get to know each other better.
We’ll need to get an idea of numbers closer to the day so we can plan the barbeque, but for now, please put Sunday 25th November in your diaries!
