Peter Collett - Atlantic Challenger!
That fateful day has come when we need to gather together and give Pete a good send off on his Atlantic Challenge. It has been a rollercoaster ride to the start line but it looks like he will make it despite many obstacles along the way! This is a chance for us to say "See you soon" to Pete and for Pete and I to say a huge "Thank you" to all who have supported him in his somewhat crazy ...
Spring Regatta 07
Hi all,
On Saturday Mosman Rowing Club made its first major attendance at a regatta for the season - the Spring Regatta at SIRC. And what an attendance it was! Two trailers, two VW vans and Dolly's orange van were required to transport all the boats, which included 22 singles!!
It was our first new -style "Grade Regatta", and red and white zooties were everywhere- our elites, our juniors and our masters competing in every grade.
Jaxon was awesome in the U1X 1000- ...

All of us ...

Some of the MRC gang were at the The Chaser filming last night (for reasons to be later announced).
It was a fun night, started (therefore finished) much later than normal though - making the seniors nice and tired for the time trial (masters should capitalise on this)!
It looks like it will be yet another awesome episode when it is aired tonight (and next week for some of it as they went way over time).
I’ll post up more when it is ...

It's pretty obvious what traits a cox must adopt and tries to learn to do a good job in this most unique position in the athletic world. I'll pass on the leadership stuff, napoleon complex garbage, and point out a secondary characteristic or two that coxes unintentionally inherit after riding in the box for a while. They can't drive a car anymore. They take 10 miles to change a lane, oversteer, can't find ...
