ITC Time Trial :: July 2006
MRC had the most outstanding results last weekend at the ITC 5km time trial. Check out the results [html / xls] Once again, our outstanding girls Amy Ives and Zoe Uphill right up the top battling within 4 seconds of each other, Nick's Aussie crews hammered it and fantastic results all around. The trials can also credit the selection of Mosman athletes Alistair Matthews, Alicia Boehm, Brynne Allen, Luke Freeman and coxswaine Ali Williams into the NSW State Youth Cup Team!

MRC Time Trial :: 26th July 2006
Great to have the MRC reporter Dave "Weary" Wear back! Here we go: Well, after a lay off of 12 months the reporter is back on the job, and what a difference a year makes. Not only was it a terrible shock to an aging body (big 50 at Xmas) but there has been a changing of the guard and now Zoe has knocked Peter Hardcastle of his perch to become the new world champion in the time trials, where will all this ...

New Shed APPROVED!
Hi Everyone. Last night Mosman Councli approved our DA for the construction of a new rowing shed at Pearl Bay. Largely through the efforts of super architect (and MRC life member) Terry O'Hanlon, greatly assisted by hardworking MRC director Bill Jenner (also a life member) and our planning consultant Lynne Sheridan, we have achieved what I consider to be an extraordinary outcome. Council has approved absolutely everything we asked for - not one change was made to the plans ...

Jaxon Rudduck makes National Team
Dear all, Great news! Jaxon Rudduck has just been named in the Australian Rowing Team to compete in the coxless four in the World championships at Eton in August. This is Jaxon's first national team (of many to come), and comes just 7 months after coming down to Mosman after returning from the US. I'm sure Jaxon joins me in a heartfelt thankyou to everyone who helped make it happen, with fantastic support in many, many ways especially boats and oars and encouragement. Now ...

Henley Finished
Hi, Sorry haven't updated, no internet access (I am in a apple store using a display computer). Tom and I are in london, enjoying ourselves. In the final we came second to Kings. Being the lighter crew with the lighter boat, they got out in front at the start like we expected but as can be expected with match racing we kept coming up to only half/quarter of a length and they just matched our every move after the start. Hope all ...
